Produced in Italy by CA.I.VI.P Spa (AKA Cantine Capetta) for San Antonio Winery. Since 1917, San Antonio Winery has won numerous gold medals and international awards. Their family now spans four generations of winemaking tradition. It is the last remaining winery in Downtown Los Angeles, a hidden gem and historical landmark operating in the same community where it was founded over 98 years ago. Grapes for this delicious Stella Rosa Black are harvested from beautiful vineyards. They are pressed, centrifuged, and then held cold as juice at 28 degrees fahrenheit. The Riboli family use this technique to capture the fresh blackberry and raspberry characteristics found in Stella Rosa Black. The juice is fermented at various intervals throughout the year. In this manner the Stella Rosa wine remains fresh and delicate throughout the entire year. This wine has high natural acidity and low pH. This is in perfect balance with the sweetness. It is not cloying or heavy.
The Riboli family has been making wine for four generations (and somehow works together amicably enough to take pictures like this). Santo Cambianica came to America in 1910, and after founding the San Antonio Winery in 1917 (where Stella Rosa was born, see below), he eventually handed over the reins to his nephew and apprentice Stefano Riboli. With no major hiccups (or only the good, wine-related kind), the intergenerational winemaking harmony has persisted to this day.
Before Los Angeles became the home of movie stars, pet psychics, and the TMZ tour bus, it was actually the seat, and indeed birthplace, of California wine country. The city of stars is also where Stella Rosa was born: The Riboli family founded the San Antonio Winery in L.A. in 1917.

The frustrating thing is, in a research group, if you asked people, "Thinking generally about brands, in any given market, what does the colour black signify?" I thin a lot of people would say 'premium'. Think of the Amex gold card. The colour of limousines. The packaging of an iPod/iPhone. This is what they're basing it on.
I'm not sure now that I even need to try it. I remember reading somewhere that you compared it to Supermarket value. I'm currently drinking a very nice bottle of the Coop's take on Budvar. And very nice it is too.
Whilst its presentation in that instance looks poor, I'm not sure most British drinkers are aware black lager exists. Beer geeks are aware of swartzbiers but most drinkers associate ale with being brown and lager with being golden.
my local serves this. the tap for it is tall and kinda fancy and not like the one in your picture. also mine was served in the glass(goblet) as shown in the advert which looks very nice. i also like the taste. i think the pub where you got it must be useless!! 041b061a72
